About DEVDIY
DEVDIY is operated by Beijing Internet Shangtong Technology Co., Ltd (北京互联商通科技有限公司). We offer Shopify themes (including Ariella and Summit B2B), Shopify apps, and related services such as theme design, setup, and migration support. Contact: info@devdiy.com.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract and use our products for lawful business purposes (typically operating a Shopify store). You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with Shopify’s terms and applicable law.
Products and services
- Shopify themes — digital theme packages licensed for use on Shopify. Unless otherwise stated, theme purchases are one-time license fees for the version delivered at purchase, subject to the license terms below.
- Theme design & setup — where marketed as included or free with a theme purchase, we provide design and setup assistance within the stated scope and timeline (commonly targeting store-ready setup in about one week).
- Shopify apps — apps listed on the Shopify App Store may be billed through Shopify. App pricing, trials, and cancellations follow the App Store listing and Shopify billing.
- Custom or migration services — scoped separately; deliverables and fees are confirmed before work begins.
Theme license (summary)
- You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the theme on Shopify store(s) as permitted at purchase (for example one store unless a multi-store option is sold).
- You may customize the theme for your store. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the theme files as a standalone product.
- Theme updates, if offered, may have separate conditions stated at purchase or in documentation.
Accounts and accuracy
You agree to provide accurate contact and billing information. You are responsible for access credentials you create on our Site or that we share for delivery of files.
Payments
Prices are shown on the Site or App Store listing. Theme and service payments on this Site are processed by our payment providers. App subscriptions are typically charged by Shopify. Taxes may apply based on your location.
Digital delivery
Themes and digital materials are delivered electronically (download link, email, or account access). There is no physical shipment. See our Digital Delivery Policy and Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Site, attempt unauthorized access, scrape content at scale without permission, or use our products to infringe others’ rights or violate Shopify or payment network rules.
Intellectual property
Site content, theme code (except third-party open-source components), branding, and documentation remain owned by DEVDIY or our licensors. Your purchase grants a license, not ownership of the underlying IP. See our Intellectual Property page.
Disclaimer
The Site and products are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific sales results, or compatibility with every third-party app or future Shopify change. You are responsible for testing themes and apps on your store before going live.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DEVDIY is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits or lost data). Our aggregate liability for claims relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for that purchase in the twelve months before the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify DEVDIY against claims arising from your misuse of the products, your store content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Disputes should first be raised with us at info@devdiy.com.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
