This Refund and Returns Policy applies to purchases from DEVDIY at https://devdiy.com. Because we sell digital products and services (Shopify themes, licenses, and setup), there are no physical returns.

What we sell
- Shopify theme licenses (one-time purchase unless stated otherwise)
- Theme design & setup services (including free setup where marketed with a theme purchase)
- Related digital services (for example migration or custom work scoped in writing)
- Shopify apps — billed via the Shopify App Store under Shopify’s billing terms
Theme license refunds
Digital theme licenses are generally non-refundable once download access or license files have been delivered, because the product cannot be “returned” in a usable sense.
We may offer a refund or credit at our discretion if:
- You were charged twice for the same order
- The wrong product was delivered and we cannot provide the correct one within a reasonable time
- The theme files are materially defective and we cannot fix or replace them within a reasonable time after you report the issue with evidence
Refund requests should be emailed to info@devdiy.com within 14 days of purchase, with your order ID and a clear description of the issue.
Theme design & setup
Where free or paid design & setup is included, refunds for the setup portion depend on progress:
- If work has not started, we can cancel the setup portion and, for paid setup, refund that fee.
- If work is underway or completed within the agreed scope, setup fees (if any) are non-refundable. Theme license refunds still follow the rules above.
Delays caused by missing store access, incomplete brand assets, or third-party apps are not grounds for a full refund of completed work.
Shopify apps
App charges, trials, and cancellations are managed through Shopify billing. Uninstall or cancel in your Shopify admin according to Shopify’s process. For app-specific billing disputes, contact us at info@devdiy.com and we will help coordinate with Shopify’s policies where applicable.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a payment dispute so we can resolve the issue. Unjustified chargebacks may result in suspension of license or support access.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible. Processing time depends on your bank or payment provider.
FAQ
Can I return a Shopify theme for a refund after downloading it?
Usually no. Once digital delivery occurs, licenses are non-refundable except in the limited cases listed above.
Does free theme setup change the refund rules?
Free setup does not create a separate physical return. License refunds still follow the theme rules; completed setup work is not “returned.”
